The DC to DC boost converter step-up the input voltage from 10V to 32V to any output voltage from 12V to 35 V. This convertor provides an output power of 150W and output current of 6A. In this module, the output voltage should be always greater than the input voltage. This converter is commonly used for automotive 12V applications, where the standard input voltage of 12V is boosted to 19V for laptop power supply. And 18Vto 24V for other high voltage applications. Since there is no reverse polarity option, a series connection of diodes is recommended to protect the module. The output voltage can be continuously adjustable on OUT+ and OUT- screw terminals. A boost convertor or a step-up converter is a device that step-up the voltage from its input to its output, by stepping down the current.
This DC-DC step-up power module booster is a low-cost module with over current and current limiting features. A built-in efficient MOSFET switches enable to achieve an efficiency of up to 95%. This offers better results and a low ripple factor. This DC-DC Module was designed based on a high-performance step-up switching current (BOOST) module.
