LM358 operational amplifier designed with two independent, high-gain frequency-compensated operational amplifiers. This amplifier operates from single power supply over a wide range of voltages. Thus widely utilized in conventional operational amplifier circuits that require to operated from single power rail. Operation via split supplies also possible if the difference between the 2 supplies is 3 V to 32 V, and VCC is a minimum of 1.5 V
more positive than the input common-mode voltage. The LM358 amplifier offers an outsized DC voltage gain of 100 dB which is perfect for transducer amplifiers, dc gain blocks, and every one op-amp circuits. Thus makes it ideal during a wide selection of applications including transducer amplifiers, dc gain blocks, and every one of the traditional op-amp circuits which now are often more easily implemented in single power supply systems.
LM358P Dual Operational Amplifier IC offers a unity-gain bandwidth of 0.7-MHz. Unity-gain bandwidth defined as the frequency up to which an amplifier with a unity gain also operated without greatly distorting the signal. The slew rate is that the rate at which an operational amplifier can change its output when there’s a change on the
input. LM358P operates at a slew rate of 0.3-V/μs slew rate. These devices powered on when the supply is connected. This device often operated as single supply operational amplifier or dual supply amplifier depending upon the users applications.
