This is a breakout board designed explicitly for Freescale’s MMA7361. MMA7361 is a sensor based on three-axis analogue Micro Electrical Mechanical System (MEMS) technology. This sensor operates at a very low amount of power and has a g-select input. It switches the accelerometer in a range between â±1. 5g and â±6g measurement ranges.
MMA7361 is defined as an Angle Acceleration Sensor Module that replaces the MMA7260 Acceleration Module. A Tilt Angle Inclination Module can be used Instead of MMA7260. This 3 axis accelerometer measures dynamic acceleration (motion, shock, or vibration). MMA7361 was designed with extremely low noise and power consumption of only 400 µA. used to sense motion or tilt (in case of non-moving) in 3 axes. The sensor typically operates between 2. 2 and 3. 6vdc (3. 3v optimal). And all three axes have their own analogue output.
The onboard MMA7361 (replace MMA7260) module is a low-cost Mini capacitive acceleration sensor supporting 5V/3.3V voltage input. The module comes with an onboard RT9161, Lower pressure drop than 1117, faster load speed. This makes it perfect for a high noise power supply environment.
The range selected by microcontroller IO can also be resistance selection. Moreover, the common pins are lead out, pins standard 100mil (2.54mm), convenient for the matrix board. Sleep Mode controlled by microcontroller IO.
