And also this PIC18F452 introduces design enhancements enable these microcontrollers a logical choice for many high-performance, power-sensitive applications.
PIC18F452 designed as an 8-bit with 10 MIPS, CMPS, FLASH-based microcontroller that has 34 I/O pins out of 40/44 Pin packages. It is a powerful microcontroller featuring one 8-bit and three 16-bit timers, 8-Channels 10-bit Analog-digital converter. And also I2C, SPI, USART peripheral, Addressable Universal Asynchronous Receiver Transmitter (AUSART). Thus makes it perfect for a wide range of applications such as manufacturing equipment, instrumentation and monitoring, data acquisition, power conditioning, environmental monitoring, telecom and consumer audio/video applications. Moreover, this low power microontroller consumes about less than 0.2 uA standby current and 1.6mA normal current during 5V and 4 Mhz operations.
Additionally, PIC18F452 designed with Programming code protection, Power-on Reset (POR), Power-up Timer (PWRT), Oscillator Start-up timer with power saving sleep mode. The watchdog timer features its own On-Chip RC Oscillator for reliable operations. PIC16F452 Microcontroller operates at a wide voltage ranging from 2V to 5.5V. Thus, used in 3.3V or 5.0V logic level operations. These devices come in 28-pin and do not have a Parallel Slave Port (PSP) implemented. And the number of Analog-to Digital (A/D) converter input channels is reduced to 5.
