Yes, it has arrived. Matha Electronics sells the Raspberry Pi Zero (without WiFi). This is a very low-cost single-board computer. You get a functional computer for less than the price of any Arduino controller board. Even if it isn’t yet a working computer, at least you have the motherboard. Although it has been a year since the release of the Raspberry Pi Zero, it remains popular among the community and is still available from us. The Raspberry Pi Zero is a super-compact, hackable, and extremely low-cost computer. This is the most recent version (V1.3) featuring a camera port (CSI 0.5mm pitch to pitch).
The Raspberry Pi Zero is quicker than the Raspberry Pi 1 thanks to its BCM 2835 (32-bit ARM-based processor) SoC running at 1GHz. It still has fantastic connectivity with mini-HDMI, micro-B OTG USB, and the same 40-pin GPIO, but you’ll definitely need some adapters to connect it to your existing devices.
Yes, it is quite appealing, but keep in mind that you will need other equipment to get it up and running. At the very least, a USB converter and a microSD card are required.
