SWIVEL INFRARED MOTION SENSOR OCCUPANCY SWITCH

This new technology with Passive Infrared wall switch utilizes an integrated circuit manufactured with the latest surface mount technology. It is a perfect energy-saving method with excellent detection sensitivity and a rapid response time. This module works by sensing human body heat in motion via infrared rays. These are designed specifically to replace an existing wall switch for interior lighting. It can start the controlled output load (light) immediately when a person crosses the detection field and it will not switch on unless the room is dark or dimly lit.

The function of IR motion sensor is to detect the presence or absence of humans in a room. And also to turn on or off the lights in the room accordingly. Here the sensor senses infrared energy emits the human body within a detection area of approximately 12 meters. When the human body moves within the detection range at a certain field of view in sequence and then walks out of the field of view. As a result, the sensor senses the moving human body for a while and then does not see it. So the infrared radiation of the human body constantly changes the temperature of the sensing material. Thus outputs a corresponding signal.

This indicator lamp flashes one time each 4sec after switching on the power. After detecting the motion signal it can flash 2 times each 1sec, so it can show if the detection and power are normal. Thereby reduces electrical energy consumption. The light level setting feature enables the device to keep in an off state if a sufficient amount of light is present in the room. This switch controls incandescent bulbs, compact fluorescent bulbs, and fluorescent fixtures with Electronic Ballast.  No flickering with CFL and Florescent Bulbs with Electronic Ballas.
