TP4056 Li-ion 5V/1A 18650 BATTERY CHARGER

TP4056 Li-ion 5V/1A 18650 battery charger is a tiny module used for charging a single cell of 3.7V 1Ah. These batteries charge the cell such as 16550 that doesn’t own a protection circuit. 18650 battery charger consists of TP4056 charger IC and DW01 battery protection IC. The battery protection ic is usually a constant-current/constant-voltage linear charger chip from single-cell lithium-ion batteries. The module cuts off automatically when the 1A charger current finishes. These are highly reliable and offer better performance.

TP4056 Li-ion 5V/1A  18650 battery charger is typically a lithium-ion rechargeable battery. The standard 18650 battery is 18mm around 65mm long. This battery is very common in applications like laptop battery packs, electric vehicles, etc.

USB or wall adapter powers this charger module. Hence also known as the Micro USB Li-ion 18650 battery charger. When the battery voltage drops below 2.4v, the protection IC will switch the load off. Hence protect the cell from running at low voltage. This module also offers a trickle charge battery reconditioning function. If the voltage level of the battery goes less than 2.9V, the module uses a trickle charge current of 1300mA. The charge current linearly increased to the configured rage current, until the battery voltage reaches 2.9v,

This module features over-voltage and reverses polarity protection. This makes it suitable for a wide range of applications. The charger formation and the input voltage are indicated by 2 status pins. The red lead indicates charging in progress and the green lead indicated the charging finishes. This battery charger also features an under-voltage lockout, Current monitoring, etc.
