This Thermoelectric Peltier/TEC-based Refrigeration Cooler kit DC 12V comes with All Accessories Fan + Heatsink + Screws. Semiconductor coolers are a form of solid-state cooling that incorporates both semiconductor technologies and electronic assembly techniques. Therefore, this Thermoelectric Peltier Refrigeration Cooling System DIY Kit is one of such types.
This DIY kit is designed as a semiconductor cooling kit that makes use of a TEC1-12706 Thermoelectric Cooler 6A Peltier Module. The kit comes with 2 heat sinks: in which the bigger one is for the hotter side and the smaller one is for the cooler side. The bigger the heat sink, the greater dissipation of the heat. As we turn ON the tec1-12706 device, the hotter side starts heating quickly and the cooler side also cools quickly. In case if you do not remove the heat from the hot side using a heat sink or other device, the Peltier quickly reaches stasis. Usually, we recommend using an old computer CPU heatsink or another block of metal to pull heat from the hot side of the thermoelectric cooler.
This kit includes a fan that acts as a radiator and is connected to the larger heat sink. Between the two heat sinks is the TEC1-12706 thermoelectric Peltier module. This module will also lower the temperature. When built, the kit takes up less room and is suitable for air conditioning in pet spaces (dog houses, chicken coops, etc.) and a small refrigerator. The following items are included in this DIY kit:
- 1 x Cooling Fan
- 1 x Fan Gauze
- 1 x Guide cold plate
- 1 x Radiator
- 1 x Thermal insulation gasket
- 1 x Silicon grease
- 1 x Pack of Screws
