Description
The TOP249YN Off-Line Switcher IC is a high-performance, energy-efficient AC-DC power conversion IC designed for switched-mode power supplies (SMPS). Part of the TOPSwitch™ family, this device integrates a high-voltage power MOSFET, PWM controller, oscillator, and comprehensive protection circuitry into a single compact component.
The TOP249YN simplifies SMPS design by reducing external components while delivering reliable and stable output performance. It supports a wide input voltage range and is suitable for medium to high-power applications. The “YN” variant comes in a TO-220 package, offering improved thermal performance and easy heat sink mounting for higher power designs.
