Description
The 5 Inch Touch Screen HDMI Interface TFT LCD Module is designed specifically for those who need a bigger resolution display. This TFT LCD Display is defined as a mini panel-mountable HDMI monitor, compact and simple. Thus it can be used with any computer that has HDMI output, and the shape makes it easy to attach to an electronic product. This TFT LCD Display for Raspberry Pi, 5 inches in size with a resolution of 800×480 pixels. The improved screw locking method makes use of stand-off screws provides Pi getting onto the display board. This is quite easy enough and highly reliable. While connecting this, it should be noted that the HDMI ports of both the Display and the Pi would line up with each other, in order to take advantage of the HDMI connector.
The Improved backlight drive scheme offers efficient operation by controlling the backlight to be ON/OFF. This ensures the lower power consumption of the module. It has a 13×2 Pin Socket that provides 5V Power from raspberry Pi to LCD and at the same time, transfers the touch signal back to Raspberry Pi. Even though this module is designed for Raspberry Pi, it can also be used with other compatible boards too. This module supports Raspbian, Ubuntu Mate, Kali Linux, and the Retropie system for Raspberry Pi. The Touch function is disabled while using on PCs. Improve PCB silkscreen, mark LCD occupied pins. (V1 version is not intuitive enough)
