The 74LS243 designed as Quad Bus Transmitters/Receivers designed for 4-line asynchronous 2-way data communication between data buses. 74LS243 also used to drive terminated lines down to 133 Ohm. 74LS243 Quadruple Bus Transceiver IC belongs to 74XXYY IC series. The 74LS243 IC operates at a wide range of working voltage, a wide range of working conditions. And directly interfaces with CMOS, NMOS, and also TTL. The output of the IC always comes in TTL. Thus bmakes it quite easy to function with other TTL devices and microcontrollers. Moreover, these IC 74LS243 comes as smaller in size and offers much faster speed which makes it highly reliable in every kind of device.
74LS243 IC operates at a supply voltage at a range between 4.75V and to a maximum of 5.25V. This IC designed for operation over the full military temperature range of −0°C to 75°C. 74LS243 manufactured in 14−pin plastic PDIP wide-body surface-mount packages.
