8 Channel TTP226 capacitive touch sensor module is the most prominent and highly reliable sensor used in electronics systems. This module is based on a touch sensing IC enabling capacitive touch switch mode. TTP226 touching detection IC replaces the traditional direct button key with diverse pad sizes. 8 Channel TTP226 capacitive touch sensor module uses TTP226 touch sensing IC. TTP226 senses the touch inputs and thus making it easy to add capacitive load inputs. This module consists of 8 touchpads operating at a voltage range of 2.4v to 5.5v DC and all touchpads are active to sense.
As 8 channel TTP226 is easy to interface, it can be used along with any microcontroller or Arduino or without anyone. When a capacitive load comes in contact with the proximity to the sensor pad, the sensor detects a change in capacitance and activates the switch. Even nonconductive material such as plastic, glass, or even wood can be detected by using the custom sense pad. Custom sense pads are made easily from any conductive material. This was a convenient solution for conventional push-button trouble, as this capacitive model can be hidden even in-wall and other places. This module consists of a total of 8 pads which can later extend with a wire or any conductive material.
Fixed screw holes present in the module provide easy positioning and installation of the module. Under the normal condition, the module output is always low mode. When the proximity comes in contact with the load, the output goes high. It will again switch to low power mode, if not touched for 12 sec.
