SimonK firmware designed explicitly for ESCs (electronic speed controllers) that offer a faster response compared to normal ESC firmware. This is a highly recommended ESC for use in multi-rotor aircraft like quadcopter, hex copter, and octocopter. SimonK ESC 30A Â (ELECTRONIC SPEED CONTROLLER) is capable of driving motors which consume up to 30A current. It works on 2S-3S LiPo batteries. An onboard BEC present in which provides regulated 5V(2A max draw) to power the flight controller and other onboard modules which consume current up to 30A. It used to control our Brushless motors can be with a 2S-3S LiPo battery under the condition that the motor doesn’t draw more than 30A of current. Simonk ESC 30A recommended to use with A2212 brushless motor (1000kv, 1400kv, 2200kv).
SimonK ESC 30A features backward-polarity protection and protection on the 5V receiver line. In short, it means that if you connect a battery backward won’t destroy your motor controller and other BECs won’t affect the ESC.
Battery Eliminator Circuit is usually part of the electrical speed control of an electric-powered radio-controlled model (ESC). Instead of two batteries (motive power and a separate battery to run the R/C equipment), BEC allows only one battery to be carried, namely the motive power battery. The voltage regulator is comparable to the battery elimination circuit. It reduces the voltage of the primary LiPo battery pack to a lesser level (e.g. 2S 7.4V, 3S 11.1V, or 4S 14.8V to 5V). A throttle calibration function is included in the SimonK ESC 30A. This allows you to seamlessly adjust to various distant throttle travel variances and increase throttle responsiveness. The motor will not start immediately since it has low voltage protection, independent of the throttle stick position.
