Description

The LM747 is a general-purpose dual operational amplifier. The IC offers features such as no latch-up when input common-mode range exceeds, freedom from oscillations, and package flexibility. The IC comes in an 8-pin dual inline hermetically sealed IC package (DIP). The LM1458 can operate in a broad range of temperatures and voltages. The IC’s output is directly compatible with nearly all CMOS, PMOS, and NMOS devices. Many other benefits of the IC include strong noise immunity, short circuit protection, and low power dissipation.

Operational amplifiers are basic electrical circuits that may increase the amplitude of a weak signal. Operational amplifiers are commonly found in home entertainment systems, megaphones, speakers, and microphones, among other things. An op-amp is a type of amplifier that uses a number of feedback components to decide the final function or “operation” of the amplifier. The different feedback topologies, whether resistive or non-resistive, define the final function or “operation” of the amplifier.

LM747 Dual Operational Amplifier IC offers a unity-gain bandwidth of 1MHz. The frequency range up to which a unity-gain amplifier may run without significantly distorting the signal is known as the unity-gain bandwidth. The slew rate refers to how quickly an operational amplifier may vary its output in response to changes in the input. A similar bias network and power supply lines are shared by the LM747 general purpose twin operational amplifiers. Aside from that, their organisation is fully self-contained. Instead of 55°C to +125°C, the LM747 operates in the temperature range of 0°C to +70°C.
