MP1584EN MINI 3A DC-DC CONVERTOR

MP1584EN Mini 3A DC-DC Converter steps down the voltage from its input to output by stepping up the current. This power converter will convert an input 4.5V-28V to output 0.8V-20V at 3A capacity. MP1584 has a single-turn potentiometer for adjustment of the output voltage. Turning the pot CW decreases the output voltage. While turning it  CCW increases the output voltage.  Because the pot is single-turn, setting an exact voltage is typically not possible. As a result, the setting can easily be achieved with a couple of percent of the target value which is fine for most applications.

This module features a soft start, thermal shutdown, and under-voltage lockout to protect the module from operating at an insufficient power supply. Low ESR bulk ceramic capacitors avoid long-term aging concerns and contribute to the compact packaging.
