The NE5532 devices designed as a high-performance operational amplifiers combining excellent DC and AC characteristics. This Dual Low-Noise Operational Amplifier IC offers very low noise, high output-drive capability, high unity-gain, and maximum-output-swing bandwidths. And also it features low distortion, high slew rate, input-protection diodes, and output short-circuits protection. These operational amplifiers are compensated internally for unity-gain operation. And also comprises of specified maximum limits for equivalent input noise voltage. The NE5532 manufactured in an 8-pin package widely used as amplifiers in audio circuits due to its noise immunity and high output drive capability.
NE5532Dual Operational Amplifier IC offers a unity-gain bandwidth of 10 MHz with a gain up to 5000. Hence widely used in audio pre-amplifier circuits. Since the IC is highly immune to noise it is commonly preferred in sensitive audio signal conditioning designs.Unity-gain bandwidth defined as the frequency up to which an amplifier with a unity gain operated without greatly distorting the signal.
The Op-Amp also offers a low range operating voltage from ±3V to ±20V and hence used in wide variety of voltage ranges. The Op-Amp also features wide bandwidth and slew rate makes it perfect for use in frequency selection, enabling you control bass or treble of a audio signals and play it in different modes like Rock, Jazz etc
