The SN75188 is a monolithic quadruple line driver that is meant to connect data terminals to data communications equipment. They comply with ANSI Standards EIA/TIA-422-B, as well as RS-485 and ITU. Shutdown usually happens at a junction temperature of around 150°C. When used with the SN75173 or SN75175 quadruple differential line receivers, this device performs well. The SN75188 is available in 14-pin PDIP broad body surface-mount packages. These line drivers IC devices are integrated circuit devices that separate the input and output circuits. Also reduces the load seen by the input circuit and enables signals to be sent on PCB or cables over longer distances with higher fan-out.
