STM32 Nucleo Development Boards designed specifically to support users to get familiar with the features of the entire STM32 MCU family. This development board comes with connectors which are compatible with Arduino, and a new standardized ST connector (Morpho). It gives access to all IOs available on the MCU. These STM32 Nucleo-64 boards, designed based on the MB1360 reference board Nucleo -F103RB. It is an affordable and flexible way for users to establish new concepts and build prototypes by choosing from the various combinations of performance and power consumption features, provided by the STM32 microcontroller.
The external SMPS significantly reduces power consumption in a Run mode in all the compatible boards. This ARDUINO® Uno V3 connectivity support and the ST morpho headers allow the easy expansion of the functionality of the STM32 Nucleo. Thus allows this open development platform with a wide choice of specialized shields.
This STM32 Nucleo-64 board comes with an integrated ST-LINK/V2-1 debugger/programmer. As a result, does not require any separate probe. Moreover, it comes with the STM32 comprehensive free software HAL library together with various packaged software examples. And is capable of supporting a wide range of Integrated Development Environments (IDEs) including IAR Embedded Workbench®, MDK-ARM, and STM32CubeIDE.
The STM32 Nucleo board series is based on ARM Cortex-M 32-bit RISC cores optimized for high performance and energy efficiency. ARM Cortex-M features a High-density instruction set and a Nested Vectored Interrupt Controller (NVIC) providing excellent interrupt handling abilities.
