TDA7498 High Power Dual Channel Stereo Audio Amplifier is a 14-36 power supply On-board TDA7498 stereo audio amplifier chip. TDA7498 digital amplifier board module based on dual BTL class-D audio amplifier with a single power supply module designed specifically for home systems and active speaker applications. It is a linear circuit with a dual-channel, capable of 100w+0W power output, and generates a peak output current of 8A. Thus Dual Channel Stereo Audio Amplifier board module offers very low harmonic distortion and better sound quality. And it can drive 4/6/8 ohm speakers.
It supports Wide-range single-supply operation of 14V – 30 V providing an efficiency of 90%. TDA7498 digital amplifier board module has 5 control buttons. These control buttons are used to change the track or control the volume. Meanwhile, the DIP 2 switches button functions as combining the up/down position of each switch you can obtain 4 different filters for the output. TDA7498 High output power digital amplifier features reverse polarity protection. When the heat sink temperature rises to a certain value, the cooling fan will work. It comes in a 36-pin Power SSO package with an exposed pad up (EPU) to facilitate mounting a separate heatsink.
This amplifier allows the selection of four fixed gain settings of nominally 25.6 dB, 31.6 dB, 35.1 dB and 37.6 dB settings via DIP switch selection. The Parallel BTL function in the amplifier performed using the MODE pin. It also has a power indicator to identify the power state of the module. Moreover, it features a thermal overload protection system and features both system shutdown and mute control function.
