This TPA3118 PBTL Mono Digital Amplifier Board comes with a 1X60W 12V 24V Power Amplifier Module. This audio amplifier has excellent sound quality. The module includes a Mono digital audio power amplifier chip that provides strong output while consuming little power. In most audio signal applications, the audio signal from an audio output instrument, such as a cell phone, must be amplified. In such circumstances, we employ basic op-amp circuits to allow us to play it via any speaker or stereo system. However, for higher amplification, we require a high power amplifier IC such as the TPA3118.
TPA3118 defined as a Mono Amplifier is a Class-D stereo digital amplifier. It is capable of driving speakers up to 60W/8Ω. TPA3118 mono amplifier ‘features an advanced oscillator/PLL circuit that offers multiple switching frequency options to avoid AM interferences. This mono amplifier provides fully protection against faults with short-circuit protection and thermal protection and also over-voltage, under-voltage, and DC protection. This digital amplifier operates at a voltage range of DC 8-24V with a power output of 60w.
This highly efficient Class-D audio amplifier comes with an integrated 120mΩ that allows output currents up to 7.5A. Using the SYNC pin, the device can be configured for either master or slave operation. This helps to prevent audible beats and prevent audible beats noise.
