LM2576HV(High Voltage Input/output up to 60V) Â 3A step-down module is a DC to DC buck converter step-down power module with a high precision potentiometer. This DC to DC buck converter steps down the input voltage from 40V ~ 60V to any lower output voltage from 1.3V ~ 26V at a continuous current of 3 A depending on the input-output voltage settings. Since it is a buck convertor the output voltage will be always lower than the input voltage. Â LM2596 is an easy-to-use, nonsynchronous, step-down DC-DC converter with a wide input voltage range of 40 V to up to 60 V for the HV version. It is capable of driving a load up to 3A with high efficiency. But heat sinks used in a certain case when the output current required greater than 2.5(or output greater than 10W). Thus avoid thermal damages.
LM2576HV is a monolithic integrated circuit with a series of regulators that perform all functions for a step-down switching regulator. These devices are available in fixed output voltages of 3.3V, 5V, 12V,15V. And adjustable output version adjusted by the high précised potentiometer. LM2576 step-down regulator modules operate at a switching frequency of 52 kHz. Thus allows small-sized filter components that require lower frequency. LM2576 3A step-down provides excellent line and load regulation. This module includes internal frequency compensation and a fixed-frequency oscillator. As a result, minimize external components and simplify power supply design.
It provides a switch-mode power supply function with high efficiency compared to the popular three-terminal linear regulators, especially with higher input voltages. This module works with Freeduino UNO, other mainboards, and basic modules. Moreover, this module features thermal shutdown, current limit protection and makes it suitable for wide range of applications.
