LNK500PN Switcher IC

Switch ICs designed as a power management ICs placed between a voltage source and a load to control power supply to the load. Basically, usage of mechanical relays, MOSFETs, and other discrete semiconductor devices allows to compose a similar circuit. LNK500PN Switcher IC provides an  efficiency of up to 75% and <300 mW no-load.  LinkSwitch solution can save . LinkSwitch simply integrates a 700 V power MOSFET, PWM control, high voltage start-up, current limit, and also  thermal shutdown circuitry, onto a monolithic IC.
