Speed Measurement Sensor is a Groove Coupler Module designed for Arduino. In this module, there is a block detection sensor, such as the speed of the motor encoder can detect. As a result the DO output interface directly connects to a microcontroller IO port. These modules are widely used in motor speed detection, pulse count, the position limit, etc. The DO modules can be connected to the relay, limit switch, and other functions. These Speed Measurement Sensor modules are also used with the active buzzer module, compose alarm.
The speed measuring sensor features output state light. When the output of the module shows a high level, the lights are off. Whereas if output indicates a low level, LED gets to turn ON. Under the condition it is covered, it will output a high level; otherwise, its output low level. This module provides a good signal and waveform, with a strong driving ability for more than 15mA. This module is equipped with a fixed bolt hole which makes the installation easier. An LM393 wide voltage comparator was used in this module. The speed measuring sensor operates at a voltage range of 3.3V to 5V.
Pin Specification of Speed Measuring Sensor Groove Coupler Module For Arduino:-
- PIN1: VCC – The positive 3.3-5 v power supply.
- PIN 2: GND – Connect power negatively.
- PIN 3: DO – TTL switch signal output.
