KK2 1.5 Multi-Rotor considered the next big evolution of the first generation KK flight control boards. It is used to manage the flight of multirotor Aircraft, Tricopters, Quadcopters, Hex copters, etc. Its function is to stabilize the aircraft during flight. KK2 1.5 Flight Controller Board consists of MPU6050 Board with Atmel 644PA. The flight controller board takes signals from onboard MPU6050 gyroscopes (roll, pitch, and yaw) and passes these signals to the Atmega644PA processor. The Atmega644PA processes the user-defined signals and passes these control signals to the installed Electronic Speed Controllers (ESCs). However, the combination of these signals instructs the ESCs to make fine adjustments to the motors rotational speeds which in turn stabilizes the craft. An LCD screen and built-in software in the controller board make installation and setup much easier than ever.
The KK2 1.5 Multi-Rotor gyro system was updated to a sensitive MPU6050 system making it the most stable KK board ever. In addition, it allows the addition of an auto-level function. The basic controlling unit of KK2 1.5 is an Atmel Mega644PA, an 8-bit AVR RISC-based microcontroller with 64k of memory. This board includes eight motor outputs, five control inputs, an LCD display, polarity protected voltage sensor input, an ISP header, a six-axis accelerometer/gyroscope, a fuse protected piezo output, thus providing a high-performance controller board. The handy piezo is actually the piezo buzzer providing the audio warning while activating or deactivating the board. It is a much easier controller board for beginners to start with and has firmware preinstalled.
